Vibrator Review: Slinky Pinky

Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

Slinky Pinky by Rocks Off is a sweet and discreet little vibrator .

Rocks Off Vibe

This little vibe is without bells and whistles; it is quite simply the RO-80 Chrome Bullet with a pink silicone sleeve.  The bullet is a 1 speed super sleek wonder.  It isn’t quite as powerful as a pocket rocket, but it certainly hold it’s own when it comes to buzz.  It has a pointed tip and an easy to control push button.  Needless to say, the bullet is awesome all on it’s own and most definitely adds to anyone’s toy collection.  Sometimes you just need a little something to vibrate during low maintenance solo sessions, or when you’re using a dildo and your clit needs some love too.

The silicone sleeve has a satisfying soft texture.  It fits snug over the R0-80 bullet, leaving the push button and the battery cap  exposed.  The sleeve mimics the bullet shape and comes to a rounded tip that extends about 1 1/2 inches beyond the bullet’s end.  The vibrations travel nicely through the silicone, especially along the shaft.  Some power is lost as you reach the tip of the sleeve.  It isn’t dead, but may be disappointing for those who prefer powerful pinpointed stimulation.  It didn’t bother me since I prefer all over clitoral and labia stimulation, made easy by using the full length of the vibrator.

As far as my orgasm was concerned, well, the big finish occurred without the sleeve.  The silicone felt great, especially with a little lube applied. BUT the extra buzz provided by using the bullet alone was what I needed to get off.

I would recommend the Slinky Pinky for someone who likes small toys with the option to change it up a little bit.  However, i would recommend the RO-80 Chrome Bullet to everyone.  A bullet vibe is an essential and this is the one to have!

Other Info:

Battery is included, which is always nice.

It is waterproof for you bath time cookie diddlers.

Noise level: Low, but not silent.

As always, silicone is 100% phthalates free, nonporous and hypoallergenic.

Product Review: Megasol Eros Liquid Aqua Based Woman

Monday, April 5th, 2010

Megasol Eros Liquid Aqua Based WomanLube is delightful.  However, I must first state that this water based lubricant does contain glycerin.  For some women that isn’t an issue, but for many it is.  Glycerin can upset that delicate body chemistry and cause infections of the unpleasant kind.  So, if you’re a highly sensitive gal, sadly this is not the product for you.

This lube is silky smooth and divine.  One drop will suffice if you just need a little something to get the party started.  If you are looking for a thick layer and that slippery feel, then 2 to 3 drops will do the trick.  It doesn’t have the same viscosity as silicone based lube, but it does leave a nice (nongreasy) satisfying layer of lube on the epidermis.  It slowly melts into the skin needing few reapplications, instead of dissolving right away.  It isn’t sticky, tacky or stringy.  When all is said and done, it leaves the skin feeling soft and moist.

Should one need to place their mouth on an area that has been lubified, there is no scent or taste to deal with.

Here is the quick and dirty on the ingredients:

Aqua
Glycerin
– Improves smoothness.
Ethoxydiglycol – Used to increase viscosity.
Guar Hydroxypropyl-trimonium Chloride  – Has conditioning properties.
Hydroxyethylcellulose – Thickening agent.
Citric Acid – Preservative.
Benzyl Alcohol/Methylisothiazolinone/Methylchloroisothiazolinone – Used as a solvent/ preservative.

Since this lube is marketed specifically towards women, I’d like for it to be glycerin free.  They don’t try to hide the fact that this is one of the ingredients, so I’m not too mad at them.

If you are sensitive to glycerin, stay away.  If not, this is a nice addition to your water based lube collection.  Megasol Eros Women Liquid is paraben free, so for that I am thankful.

Toy Review: I Rub My Fishie

Fishie

First, I used a duck to pleasure myself.  This time I used a fish.  Perhaps I should be questioning my morals here, but I am not.

I did indeed Rub My Fishie.

This review is not meant to be a comparison between the I Rub My Duckie and The Fishie.  However, I do have to mention that this bug eyed Koi toy was much much much easier to turn on than the duck.  Give the sides a healthy squeeze and you are on your way to vibrating fish land.  The material on the power area feels softer than the rest of the toy.  Thanks for taking care of that!

Once I got passed the fact that it looked like I was about to masturbate with a cartoon character, I enjoyed the I Rub My Fishie.  The strongest vibrations were in the bulging behemopthic eyeballs.  Those oculi had a smooth texture that was oh so satisfying.  Conveniently, the tail fin made an easy to grip handle.  It was then that I realized these people weren’t just trying to make a cute toy; they really put some thought into this guy.  Nice job!

The high intensity eyes go to be a little much.  This vibe technically only has one speed.  However, using different parts of the fish body allowed me to experience different vibration sensations.  The tail fin was the second highest vibration level.  Its thin shape makes for more pinpointed stimulation.  Note: at this point, I still had to remind myself that an activist group for fish-rights wasn’t going to come after me for indecent behavior.

The mouth of the fishie was my favorite part.  There was a medium level of vibration and I was able to hold on to his big eyeballs with both hands.  It provided me with the right stimulation in all of the right areas.  Let’s just say PETA could have been knocking down my door and I wouldn’t have cared.

I love my I Rub My Fishie!  He is not just a cute fish, he is functional, fun and he gets the job done.

P.S.  Yes, he is waterproof.

Toy Review: Smart Balls

Smart Balls:  A brand new experience.ReviewBall

Who makes them:  Awesome people at Fun Factory.

What they do:  Train the PC, or the pubococcygeus muscles.  This is the scientific name for the vaginal muscles.    They also stimulate and massage!

Inserting and Removing:  Both took a good deal of effort and a healthy squeeze of lube.  Once the Smart Balls are in, they are happy to stay and make themselves at home.  When removing, I grabbed on to the loop and played a gentle game of tug of war with my vaginal muscles.  I won, but not without a struggle.  It was not in any way painful, just surprising.  I didn’t mind.  The removal of the balls is an addition to the exercise and I was happy to know that I was well on my way to having super buff naughty bits.

When I wore them the first time:  I pranced around the house a few times wondering what was going to happen.  The sensation was faint but pleasant.  After a few laps around the couch I got out my LayaSpot.  It is already an amazing vibrator, but the Smart Balls took my self love experience to the next level.  I liked how they provided a sense of fullness without having to use my hands to hold on to another toy.  That moment of toe curling ecstasy was intensified times 100.  My boyfriend had to peel a semi-liquified gelatinous version of me from the couch when he got home from work.

When I wore them the second time:  I wore them for a few hours at a good friend’s wedding serenade (big block party with copious amounts of food, adult beverages and entertainment).  I was a bit nervous that they may start to bother me or push out.  They didn’t.  At times I just enjoyed the live band while eating and drinking merrily.  Other times I was conscious to contract my muscles so I could get a bit of exercise in without anyone knowing.  About every half hour my boyfriend took pleasure in asking me if I was still wearing the balls.  It was our little secret and a fun one at that!  As I said before the sensation was faint, but pleasant.  Every now and then I could feel a hint of stimulation.

Not just an intense O:  While I love intensified orgasms, there are also many health benefits that can be gained from using Smart Balls and doing any type of Kegal exercise.  This was simply a review of my experience with a great product.  It has me intrigued and a bit obsessed with the PC muscles.  Check back soon for more about these muscles and why women and men alike should work them out.

How much I like Smart Balls: I don’t like them, I love them.

Toy Review: LAYAspot

LayaSpot

The LAYAspot is awesome!  I’d like to give the geniuses at Fun Factory a bunch of kisses for this one.  Or make them cookies; ask for their hand in marriage or some such activity that would hopefully let them know that I love this toy from the absolute depths of my soul.

From beginning to end, the high level quality of this vibe shows through.  The packaging is gorgeous.  It is easy to get into and the outer flap held shut with magnets.  Magnets!  They also include a handy instruction manual.  You won’t be left looking at this little thing with a raised eyebrow.  The batteries are easy to insert; just give the rounded end a little twist, drop them in and get going.  It’s the bee’s knees.

The LAYAspot fits perfectly in the palm of your hand.  It is small so you can easily cup your hand over its curved body as you use it.  Your index finger easily controls the speed, as the buttons are positioned where that finger lies anyway.  The elastomed plastic is firm and smooth, just the way a massager should feel.  I like knowing it is phthalates free and hypoallergenic too.

The vibration intensity is in fact controlled by “Perfect Vibration”.  Start slow and work your way up to high speed super orgasm mode.  The pulsation patterns: the best!  I am usually a fan of steady vibrations, but this was a different story.  As soon as I put it on the short! Loooong… short! mode, the O face was on.  This was shortly followed by one of the best nights of sleep of my life.

I have used this vibe almost every day since it was given to me.  I enjoy it more and more each time I use it.  Coupled with my Fun Factory Smartballs, it is a force to be reckoned with!  That is a review for another day very soon.

This is my new favorite toy and I think everyone should have one.  If you think there is anything wrong with the LAYAspot, please let me know so I can tell you how absolutely wrong you are.

Dildo Review: The Matinee Idol

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

What was the best attribute of the Matinee Idol by Topco?

The suction cup base.  I stuck it to the inside of my passenger car window as I was driving home.  It didn’t budge.  Well, the cock itself was jiggling all around, doing all of the things that big dopey jelly cocks do when attached to a car window.  You know, the usual bobbing up and down as if it is agreeing to something.  The occasional shake from side to side in the event of an abrupt stop.  As fun as it was to let the dildo wiggle and shake on the ride home, I thought a more real-life application was appropriate.  Naturally, the shower wall was the next test surface.

MatineeIdolThe suction was just as strong to the shower wall as it was to the window.  This time it was me testing the wiggles and shakes and it did not disappoint.  At 7 ½ inches, there was more than enough to satisfy me.  It was life like in almost every sense of the word, from the helmet head to the veiny shaft and the wrinkled balls.  Even through the condom barrier, I could feel the details of this slightly daunting dildo.  P.S.  It is never a bad idea to use a condom when using jelly sex toys.

If you like realistic cocks that you can stick to the wall and go to town on, the Matinee Idol would be great for you.  The only distraction was the unpleasant smell that always comes from jelly toys.  Let’s just say it’s not an aphrodisiac.  But if you use a condom and light some incense you and the Matinee Idol will be lovers in no time.

A Wish Fulfilled: I Rub My Duckie

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

I did in fact Rub My Duckie.

I didn’t expect much from this cute little tub toy, but I was a bit surprised.  It didn’t have the strongest of vibrations.  However, I did enjoy the thumping sensation it provided when placing the duck’s tail on my lady bits.  I would say it was more like throb-ration, rather than vibration.  It stimulated both my clitorous and labia simultaneously, which I love!  I tried to use the duck’s beak, but it didn’t do much in the way of satisfaction.  The vibrations were just not strong enough on that part of the toy.  Plus the beak felt awkward.  I did get a giggle out of the duckie going down on me!

irubmyduckie

Batteries are included which is always a perk.  They are easy to insert as long as you have a small Phillips head screwdriver handy.  Now, turning on the I Rub My Duckie is another story.  I heard it was task, but in the name of all that vibrates, it was a pain in my rear!  Just pushing on the duck’s back didn’t work.  I had to hold the duck in both hands and squeeze with all of my strength.  I worry that one could pull a palm muscle.  But, at least I don’t have to worry about it turning on by accident.

Is he waterproof?  Yes!  I left him in the bath tub for a good hour and he was still floating.  I submerged him and his motor kept on purring.  It was quiet, by the way.

As far as the get off factor, I would give this guy a 7.1 on a scale of 1-10.  On the cute factor, I give him an 11!  The look in his eyes could just melt your heart.  But, don’t let it fool you.  He wants to get you naked in the bath tub.

I probably won’t use my I Rub My Duckie on a daily basis, but I will reach for him the next time I am in the mood bath time throb-rations.  He got me where I needed to be with just a little work.  The best thing about this guy is that he is hiding in plain sight.  He is a great bathroom accessory.  When people are over, I love knowing my naughty bath buddy is looking up at them as they reach for the toilet paper.

A Wish Fulfilled: grrl toyz Jumbo Waterproof Bullet

Monday, May 18th, 2009

Sometimes bigger is better!

This weekend I was fortunate enough to review the grrl toyz Jumbo Waterproof Bullet.  As my readers know, I love bullets.  I have had my eye on this one for a while and it did not disappoint.

I will start by talking about what I loved most about this vibrator: size!  It is wide enough to stimulate your clit and labia at the same time.  I prefer this over direct clitoral stimulation, so this is an automatic smiley face with a check plus in my book.  Rolling the Jumbo Bullet back and forth, from right to left, over said area makes for a phenomenal sensation.  This can be done with a standard bullet, but it does not provide the same “coverage”.  Rolling the Jumbo Bullet worked like a charm during my long and relaxed solo session on medium vibration.

Orgasm? Yes!  I turned the vibration up to high and with the tiniest bit of manual labor I turned into a little puddle of happiness.

Here is the technical stuff:

-It comes with batteries which are easy to insert.  Twist the end off and drop them in.  Like I have said before, no need to call tech support mere minutes before masturbating.

-The dial base is easy to use and delivers multiple speeds from mild and mellow to super blast off speed.  It also has a raised spider shaped rubber on the dial which helps to grip the control.

-The Jumbo Bullet is made of rubber which is comfortable enough.  I added a touch of water based lube and it was deliciously smooth.  I didn’t need much!

-I submerged this toy in water and it kept vibrating like the mighty bullet of big that it is!jumbobullet2

-The Jumbo Bullet is simple in looks, but is a pro at getting the job done.  Flashy bells and whistles are fun to look at.  When it comes to self love, who cares?

-The only down fall is that it is not as quiet as I would like for it to be.  The noise level is tolerable, but above a whisper.  I can live with it on this one!

The grrl toyz Waterproof Bullet reigns as King of all bullets as far as I am concerned!
