WetForHer Two

Friday, July 8th, 2011

SexToys.com recently added the WetForHer Two to their inventory of of products so I thought I would take a minute to let you know what the ladies at WetForHer are all about.

The company started in France in 2009 and prides itself on making sex toys by women for women. Their products are made with lesbians in mind, with the notion that they are discovering “fun new horizons” that the hetero sex toy market has missed out on. They approach their creations with “humor and elegance”.

Anyone who uses the term “finger bang” in their product description is okay by me.

Here is some information provided by the manufacturer, but you should also take a look at some WetForHer Two review over at HotMoviesForHer.

WetForHer Two

The WetForHer Two is an amazing device made by women, for women to use on women. The Two is a lesbian-based sex toy that speaks not only for femme relationships, but for hetero and bi as well.

The toy is based on two fingers, side by side in the position to finger bang. The silicone Two is half sleeve and half finger-extension.

Slip on the Two, use water-based lube if you need any, and feel your way around. Discover your partner. It will slip in very nicely and if you turn the sleeve in different directions, the Two will just find more angles to please.

G-spot and uterine orgasms are right at your partners fingertips.

- 100% silicone
- Phthalates free

Color: Pink
Length: 5.5 inches
Width: 1 1/4 inches – 1.5 inches

At the very least, I can say the Two is definitely a unique sex toy.  I would love to hear your thoughts on it!

Review: Icicles No. 15

Thursday, March 31st, 2011

I was super excited to get my hands on one of glass toys from Pipedream’s Icicles line.  I love glass and that is all the reason I really needed to be excited about it.

Vibrating Glass DildoIcicles No. 15 is a glass dildo that comes with a bullet vibrator.  It is 7 inches long and less than 1 inch wide. The dildo itself is essentially a curved beaded stick with a nubbed texture.   On the handle end, it has a loop (that you can insert the bullet into) and and two flared appendages that allow for safe anal play. The color is a clear iridescent amber.  The bullet is powered by a wired remote control and requires 3 AAA batteries that are not included.

No. 15 didn’t have  enough girth for me. That isn’t necessarily the toy’s fault, but I prefer that filled sensation when it comes to penetrative toys. I make exceptions for dildos and vibes that really target the g-spot (i.e. Ella). I was hoping this would be the case, but sadly it wasn’t. It has what appears to be an awesome g-spot curve, but it just didn’t quite give me the stimulation I was looking for. The angle was just too wide. What I did like was the beaded/nubbed texture, which was best observed during long slow thrusts.  The thick beads with their narrow connection stimulated my vaginal opening, while the nubs stimulated my vaginal wall.  It definitely made me want to explore this type of stimulation further.  I need a new word for stimulate.

The plastic bullet vibrator is small and super high powered.  It has 10 different speed/vibration patterns including a few steady vibration settings and a variety of pulsation patterns, each with their own unique personality.  While the bullet packs quite the punch, it is super buzzy and a bit noisy.  Like I said earlier, you can insert the bullet in the loop, but the vibrations don’t transfer that well to the end of the dildo.  No. 15 just isn’t the toy for internal vibration.  I tried to see if it would be useful for clitoral stimulation while inserted in the loop, but it didn’t work out.  Your best bet is to not even bother inserting it into the loop and to just stick the bullet vibrator right on your clit.  This is as long as you like super buzzy vibrations.  However, it does light up and flash according the setting it is on.

Cleaning was easy.  I just washed the dildo in the sink with mild soap and water.  I wiped the bullet down with a soapy cloth.  It isn’t waterproof!  Your water based lube of choice will work just fine.

I didn’t fall in love with Icicles No. 15, but if you like slender dildos and high powered vibrations, you would probably enjoy it.  I imagine it would be a fun anal toy.  It is narrow, but glass doesn’t give, so I wouldn’t recommend it to anal beginners.  I am appreciative that that it has pushed me to further explore that whole vaginal wall/opening stimulation thing.  I rather enjoyed it and am looking forward to playing with more toys that do the same.

Product Review: Johnny by Vixen Creations

Thursday, October 14th, 2010

Johnny from VixenCreations is a thick and meaty lifelike dildo.  This much needed addition to my collection of sweet little sex toys stands big and proud with a veiny shaft, pronounced head and hefty textured balls.  An incredibly realistic cock, not one detail was spared right down to the wrinkled upper shaft.

Johnny Lifelike Dildo

Basic Info :

Material: Silicone.  Vixen also makes Johnny in their skin-like material VixSkin.  This version is firmer, but still body safe all the way.  This one is also a little more wallet friendly.

Length: 7 inches.  It’s not the longest dildo I own.  It’s the girth that makes it the whopper that it is.

Width: 1 13/16 inches.

Color: It only seemed right to choose black for this dildo, but it does come in vanilla, chocolate, caramel and purple.

Johnny took some warming up with a couple of smaller dildos and a whole lot of lube.  At first I was worried that my eyes were bigger than my vagina with this one.  With pretty much zero flexibility or give, you definitely have to work your way up.  Getting past the fat head was a bit of a chore both on entry and exit.  The helmet brim really juts out and creates a ledge effect (the picture doesn’t do this justice). Patience was key in avoiding any discomfort; once I was past this point all was divine.  The slight curve aided in a little g-spot stimulation, but the fulfilled sensation was what made the experience so fantastic.  Johnny gives you that full feeling with very little thrusting required. It’s basically awesome.

Orgasm?  With all of the warming up and magnificent size, it was impossible not to have a seriously intense orgasm.

Johnny is harness compatible.  I didn’t get to test its strap-on-ability because I don’t have an O-ring big enough to accommodate it.  I can’t say if it is good or bad in that department, but I imagine it would look pretty great strapped on.  There would be no question about who was in charge!

I am a fan of Johnny.  It isn’t my dildo of choice for regular use, but I’m glad I have it ready and waiting for those times I’m looking for that filled sensation.  If you prefer small toys, this is not for you.  If you like a more flexible cock, you should definitely go with the VixSkin.  If you are a size queen or just looking for a bit of a challenge, this is the toy for you!

If you’ve never used anything of this size, know that you’ll have to work your way up.  Embrace it and enjoy the journey.  I know I did.

Have a dildo and a smile.

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

I have noticed an increase in negativity these days.  Maybe it’s that I have stopped letting every little thing bother me, so it has amplified the voices of the negative nancies.  I’m not going to get all yoga instructor or anything here.   I have my cynical days and consider my smart ass comments to be quite charming.  But, do you really have to complain all day long?  Do you hate everything?  Is there anything in this world that you like?  Even just a little bit?

To this I say, have a dildo and a smile and shut the fuck up.  It’s a bit cliched and I stole that line from somewhere (I can’t even remember where), but it’s really quite fitting.  You either need to get laid or purchase something that will help you relieve a little stress, or whatever it is that causes you to be so pissed all of the time.  I know an orgasm always helps me to be just a little less bitch-tastic.

If you are someone who complains everyday, do everyone a favor and rub one out.  You’ll feel a lot better.  Trust me.  Really at this point anything would do, but we might as well get it done right.  I’m going to recommend The Outlaw by Vixen Creations.  It is made from body friendly silicone, has 9 inches of insertable length and enough balls to handle any cunt.  Take that as you will.

Vixen Creation's biggest dildo.“The largest dildo from Vixen Creations, the Outlaw offers incredible length and girth in their signature super-realistic vixskin textured silicone.

A dual density construction layers decadently soft pure silicone over a firm inner core to give an unbeatably realistic feel. Topped with a plush head, the nine inch shaft is detailed with raised veins and juts out from a pair of realistic testicles on the flat-bottomed base.

Long enough to easily wrap both hands around it, the Outlaw dildo is best suited to those familiar and comfortable with larger sex toys. This silicone sex toy can be boiled between uses to sterile, and should only be used with water-based lubricants.

Type: Textured life like dildo
Length: 9 1/2 inches
Insertable Length: 9 inches Circumference: 6 1/2 inches
Special Features: Boilable, Large Size, Vixskin Textured.”

Review: Lovemoiselle Aveline

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010

I am in love with Aveline.

Lovemoiselle’s Aveline is a g-spot dildo made from glazed ceramic. It is about 8 1/2 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide. It has the most delicate of blue flowers painted on it; it is elegant, feminine and exudes understated beauty. I know, I’m talking about a dildo and not a set of pearls, but it really is quite lovely.
Lovemoiselle Aveline

Isn’t ceramic fragile? It is, but Lovemoiselle uses a special glaze that makes their ceramic dildos extremely durable. Chipping could occur, so I wouldn’t go around tossing one at a brick wall. It is nonporous, phthalates free and hypoallergenic.

Aveline’s texture is silky smooth, and dare I say I like it more than I like the texture of glass. I would say glass has a sleek-smooth texture, while ceramic has a matte-smooth texture. Profound, I know. It heats to your body temperature in nearly an instant whether you are holding it in your hand or it is in use. It also has a rubber stopper at the end so you can fill it with warm or cold water. It warms so quickly and intensely to your body, I don’t see the need to fill it with warm water.

Aveline’s girlish figure gives way to gentle curves for easy handling and pleasure. Both the shape and material make for incredible g-spot stimulation. I’m not getting paid to say that. Honestly, I was excited to get this toy in my hands, but I assumed it would be “pretty good” and look really nice on my dresser. I was way off the mark. This dildo has definitely moved into a top slot on my list of favorite toys. It is hard, which g-spots tend to love and respond to. The curve is just right and makes finding your g-spot absolutely effortless. The rounded tip massages the g-spot with a targeted yet full sensation, not the tip-of-the-arrow sensation.

As far as lube is concerned, I really didn’t need much at all. Just the tiniest drop made the texture even more buttery and velvety… in the best possible way. Lovemoiselle states that it is safe to use with all lubricants, but recommends using water based.

Lovemoiselle suggests rinsing and drying with a clean cloth. Adding a little mild soap wouldn’t hurt. Never use abrasive cleaners or scrubbers. Aveline comes with a soft draw string storage pouch for safe keeping.

Needless to say I give the Lovemoiselle Aveline an A+. I recommend this dildo to those who like mid-sized g-spot toys and anyone who enjoys orgasms.

Product Review: Tantus G Force

Thursday, March 11th, 2010

I am a fan of the G Force.  It is by no means a brand new toy, but if you like g-spot play, you should definitely add it to your collection.

G Spot DildoTantus uses 100% platinum grade silicone.  This makes the G Force phthalates free, hypoallergenic and nonporous.  It can be sterilized by means of boiling or using a 10% bleach solution.  This g-spot dildo is made from a harder silicone than some of their other Tantus toys.  It is flexible, but not malleable.  It feels solid in your hand and it is evident that it is a high quality product before it even comes in contact with your naughty bits.  As with all silicone toys, use water based lube only!

The G Force is a little over 10 inches in total length and not quite 1 ½ inches at its widest point, which happens to be the yummy bulbous head.  Naturally, the curve in the shaft makes it perfect for g-spot stimulation.  The easy to grip handle is roughly 4 or 5 inches long.  Since your g spot is only located 1-3 inches inside of the vagina, there is plenty of dildo left to take care of business.

Color?  Candy.  Because I am woman enough love pink.

The G Force definitely delivered during solo play.  The curved shaft made it easy to reach my g spot, especially when I was leaning against a couple of pillows.  No awkward positions necessary.  That was lovely and all, but the real fun began when my boo took over.

The G Force during partnered play was fantastic!  I think it was a combination of the shape of the toy and the arm strength of my sex toy testing assistant.  He took control of the handle and went what one might call “buck wild”.  Vigorous up and down motions made for super intense g-spot stimulation.  The kind of stimulation that immediately causes your spine to disappear as your body makes shapes that only a contortionist should be able to achieve.  There is definitely squirt potential there.  Just putting that out there.

Basic info about the g-spot:

    - It was named after German gynocologist, Ernst Gräfenberg
   - It is located on the anterior/front vaginal wall, 1-3 inches back.  Yes, I know I already said that.  I am repeating     myself for a reason.
   - It is also known as the urethral sponge.  Some speculate that it is simply an extension of the clitoris.
   - Some argue that the g-spot doesn’t exist.  The G Force says other wise and I happen to agree.
   - Response to g-spot stimulation varies from woman to woman.  Some experience intense orgasms and even ejaculation, others find it irritating and many fall somewhere in between.

Without question, I would recommend this toy to those who love and care for their g-spot.  It is body safe, suitable for comfy solo play and perfect for partnered play.  Those joint defying orgasms aren’t so bad either.

The Glory of Glass

Monday, February 8th, 2010

Pink Glass Dildo by Don WandsGlass dildos are among the most popular sex toys on the market.  Ever since their appearance on a variety of HBO specials, they have been flying off the shelves like hot cakes.  Not that I have ever seen a hot cake fly.  I only recently discovered all of the gloriousness that glass has to offer.  I love it and you will too.

Many consider glass dildos to be a staple in their toy collection, however many women cringe at the thought of putting glass inside their beloved pink parts.

Thought process: glass –> broken glass –> vagina –> no thanks.

This isn’t a completely irrational thought process.  However, glass dildos are not made from the same glass that your dishes are made of.  They are made from borosilicate, acrylic or lucite.  Borosilicate is also known as Pyrex.  It is considered to be a soft glass, but it is by no means fragile.  It is in its soft molten state when it is being molded and sculpted.  Pyrex is tempered, which means it is put through a process of extreme heating and cooling.  This makes it 4 to 5 times stronger than standard glass and will not shatter.  It is possible to chip your Pyrex dildo, but highly unlikely.  Acrylic is also an extremely durable shatterproof material.  A crack may occur, but is also unlikely.

Does that ease your mind?  It should.  Glass dildos and your vagina can and should be friends.  Good friends.  And not just because they won’t spontaneously explode during an intense solo session.

Glass dildos are oh so satisfying.  Since they are firm, they are perfect for g-spot and prostate stimulation.  Once a dab of lube is applied, the smooth surface makes for pleasurable external warm up.  Glass is also ideal for temperature play.  Submerse in warm or cool water and in no time you can add a whole new element to toy time.  Why temperature play?  It doesn’t take a scientist to know that warmth simply feels nice.  It encourages the clitoris to engorge quickly, which induces natural lubrication and heightens arousal.  Placing a cold object on your naughty bits may sound less than sexy, but it does serve a purpose.  Cold can act as a reset button for the clitoris.  It calms the nerves and constricts the blood vessels.  Many women find that this gets them ready for round 2 in a matter of minutes.  Some simply enjoy the sensation.  Never warm your glass dildo in the microwave!

Glass feels great, but you should definitely know your dildo size.  If you purchase one that is too large, your pretty new toy will be useless to you.  There is no give when it comes to glass.  Think about it.

Glass Dildo by Don Wands

When purchasing a glass dildo you are also purchasing a little handmade work of art.  While they can be the cause of many fabulous orgasms, they also look gorgeous just sitting on the coffee table.

Glass toys are nonporous and 100% hypoallergenic so there is no need to worry about any allergic reactions.  They are totally body safe and perfect for those who have latex or other allergies.  Avoid painted glass.  Any color should be embedded in the glass.  Another awesome feature – you can use either water based or silicone based lubricant.  Unlike silicone toys, the silicone lube will not eat away at the toy.  Since glass is nonporous, it will not absorb the lube.  A little really does go a long way here.

If treated with care, your glass dildo will last a life time.  Simply wash with soap and water.  Store your toy in the padded pouch that most manufacturers include with your dildo.  There are no pores for bacteria to hide in, so glass will not naturally break down and become an oddly shaped gelatinous mess.

Glass dildos can get pretty pricey, but you can find a quality glass dildo for around $30.  Don Wands makes a ton of attractive and satisfying glass products that won’t break the bank.  No excuses!  Get your glass dildo.  You can thank me later.

Product Review: Nubby Fat Head Glass Dildo

Monday, January 18th, 2010

I don’t have much to compare when it comes to glass sex toys.  I am rather inexperienced in this corner.  I can admit it, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t know what I like.  Guess what, I like the Don Wands Nubby Fat Head glass dildo.  Emphasis on Fat Head.

Fat Head Glass DildoIts blue/ green ocean-esque appearance makes it lovely to look at.  It stands proud and beautiful on its flared base, waiting to please.  Looks are of little importance when it’s time for business, but I am a sucker for a pretty toy.  That wasn’t the only reason I chose Fat Head.  Knowing that glass is hard and in no way pliable, I thought I was safe with 7 inches in length and a shaft with a 1 inch diameter.  I didn’t want to leave myself wanting more, so I knew the 1 ½ inch wide head would take care of my need for a little fulfillment.  I was right.

Fat Head is in no way made for size queens.  It is just right for those who like small to medium sized dildos with added plumpness.  The head, my favorite part, tapers to a dull point.  The nubs on this dildo add to the visual appeal, but I can’t honestly say they affected my experience one way or the other.  The flared base made handling easy, especially when lubricant was thrown into the mix.  The flared base would also make the Fat Head suitable for anal play.  This glass dildo is simple in shape, but the slender shaft and bulbous tip make it an ooooh so pleasing product.

Don Wands Nubby Fat Head comes with a storage pouch that could double as a comfy pillow for a really tiny person.  It is soft, cushiony and I like knowing it will keep my precious glass sex toy safe.

This dildo is definitely one that will live on my stand for quite a while.  I can’t wait to acquire some of Fat Head’s friends and further investigate all of the gloriousness that is glass.  Well all may be pushing it, but it doesn’t hurt to try.  We all have to have goals, right?

Glass is great: It is ideal for temperature play and warms to your body temperature quickly.  You can use any lubricant that is desired.  Since it is nonporous, it won’t absorb your lube so a little goes a long way.  Glass is also phthalates free, hypoallergenic and ridiculously easy to clean – soap and water or in the dishwasher.

Product Review: Ella

Monday, January 4th, 2010

From packaging to pleasure, the Ella was exactly what I expected from Lelo and beyond.

The Ella, g-spot dildo, comes in an elegant black box and a little pouch for travel.  Presentation isn’t everything, but it certainly adds to the experience when using “erotic playthings”.  I felt like I was pampering myself; that same ahhh I’m about to get a manicure or massage feeling.   Don’t get me wrong, I would take the Ella over trimmed cuticles and painted nails any day.

Ella G Spot DildoMade from 100% silicone, Ella is phthalates free and body friendly in every sense of the word.  It is soft to the touch and when a bit of water based lube is added it feels divinely silky, plush and velvety all at the same time.  Even without the presence of vibration, it is perfect for a bit of external clitoral warm up before heading to the depths of g-spot joy.

I found this toy to be just the right size.  Since the g-spot is located less than a few inches inside of the vagina there is no need for a long cumbersome dildo.  With this being said, a little length is necessary for easy handling.  At 7 inches, my size requirements were met.  The oval head makes finding the g-spot a no brainer.  No searching, shifting or awkward hand gestures required.  Simply insert and enjoy.  Easy to operate and easy to reach orgasm, this decadent toy is among my favorites.

The Ella is a 2 in one toy in that the opposite end can be used as a traditional dildo.  I tested it out for the sake of the review.  Of course it works just fine as a means of traditional stimulation.  With that glorious g-spot end, I can’t imagine I’ll be using the traditional end for much more than a handle.  I have to add: the angled edge on the traditional end/handle lets you know which way is up.  Therefore you know where the surface of the g-spot head is.  During a frenzy of toe twitching and multiple orgasms things can get a bit slippery and knowing which way is up without having to look is useful!

I absolutely love the Ella.  The little black box is still on my night stand and I can’t imagine I’ll be putting in the treasure chest of sex toys any time soon.  If you are a gal who loves g-spot play and simple yet sophisticated toys, you need to add this toy to your collection.

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

I have had my eye on Lelo’s Ella for quite some time now.  It is simple yet sophisticated and perfectly designed for absolutely fabulous g spot stimulation.  It is also something I would love to find under the Christmas tree in a few weeks!  Not that I wouldn’t take it before hand – just putting that out there in case a certain someone is reading this.

Ella G Spot DildoThe Ella is made from phthalates free, nonporous, hypoallergenic silicone.  This also means it is easily steralized.  This beautiful g spot dildo will not cause any annoying infections and is effortlessly cleaned after that neck twisting orgasm.  It is no surprise this luxurious toy made it onto my Wish List and into our Featured Products For Women category!  Now if I could only get it into my greedy little paws.

Yes, the perfectly curved tip makes this Lelo product perfect for g spot play, but what about the other end?  Well, it is ideal for use as a traditional dildo.  If I am not in the mood for intense stimulation, I can still enjoy the Ella and so can you.  You have to get your own of course.
